The big day has finally arrived!
Today is the day we head out to Oakland and the beautiful Heinz Memorial Chapel for the wedding of Alissa and David. It is sure to be fun-filled with memories that will last them a lifetime.
Their Wedding day started off busy but fun. Loved ones arrived, flowers were passed all around, and pre-wedding pictures were taken. It’s clear that Alissa and her bridesmaids were all smiles as they got ready at the nearby Wyndham Pittsburgh Hotel. A special day of memories and joy awaited them at the chapel for their upcoming union in marriage.
The bridal party looked stunning as they walked to the chapel! Alissa couldn’t have been more excited in this joyful moment.
The Ceremony
The long-awaited moment has finally arrived as Alissa arrived at the Heinz Memorial Chapel. In addition to being a famous wedding destination in Pittsburgh, Heinz Memorial Chapel boasts a rich history. Dedicated in November 1938, the Chapel was meant as a gift from H.J. Heinz himself to the University of Pittsburgh. Its gorgeous architecture and pristine location in Oakland make it the ideal venue for newlyweds in marriage like Alissa & David.
After reading their vows, Alissa and David said “I do.” and began their lives together as husband and wife. They couldn’t have seemed happier! That’s when we got to work taking photos of both families. From grandkids to grandparents, everyone was thrilled for Alissa and David as we captured some Wonderful Photos in the Oakland area. The pictures came out great and the moments even better.
A Fun Filled Reception
Just when they thought the day couldn’t get any better, the reception began. Family, food, music, and love filled the reception hall at the Wyndham Pittsburgh Hotel. A beautiful artistic cake from a local bakery complemented the couple perfectly.
A Final Farewell
As evening changed to night, Alissa and David’s wedding day was drawing to a close. We were so happy to help them remember their special day for a lifetime. “[John] cares and it shows in his awesome photos! My family also loved him and he was very caring and attentive to us all!” said Alissa. In one last photo, the happy couple say their goodbyes as they start their new lives together.
